About this Episode
The Republican Party was founded in a Wisconsin schoolhouse in 1854. Now the DSA is claiming the same state as socialist ground, and running to lead it.
In this episode, I talk with Dominic Davis, a Restoration News researcher who grew up in Wisconsin, about the governor's race and the history fight underneath it. We get into the Democratic primary, DSA state Rep. Francesca Hong, the "sewer socialism" talking point the left keeps reaching for, and a property tax fight that is squeezing farmers and families out of homes they have owned for decades.
Dom's argument is that if the DSA can win a whole state, it stops being a Milwaukee story and starts being leverage over the national Democratic Party.
